Last November, Submission Sport I premiered as the Mid-South's premium grappling event.  Join us on March 31st as the grappling action returns to Memphis for Submission Sport II.  Submission Sport II will include more than 60 divisions of gi and no-gi competition, individual and team prizes, and featured professional grappling matches!

Medals and Trophies

Submission Sport awards the sport's highest quality medals and trophies.  Medals are given to all first, second, and third place competitors within all 74 divisions.  Additionally, the winning team and each of the three first place winners of the Absolute No-Gi divisions will receive our premium trophy. New: Team Award

Submission Sport II will feature for the first time an award to the most winning team.  The team who earns the most medal-points (3 for gold, 2 for silver, 1 for bronze) will receive a team trophy and will have their instructor and school featured on at submissionsport.com. 

 

Event Schedule

(all times approximate)

8:00 am    - Doors Open, Registration/Weigh-in begins (ends 12:00pm) 

10:30 am  - Rules meeting

11:00 am  - All children and teen divisions begin

12:00 pm  - Masters and Women No-Gi divisions begin

1:00 pm    - Adult No-Gi divisions begin

afternoon -  All Masters, Women, and Adult Gi divisions begin

 

*Featured professional grappling will take place in the mid-afternoon

 

Competition Fees


Children's

$50 for children 1 division *

$60 for children 2 divisions * 

 

Adult 

$65 for 1 division Adult

$80 for 2 divisions Adult

$15 for absolute division** 

*No absolute no-gi division for children

**To compete in absolute divisions, you must compete in at least 1 other division
